Types of Massage Offered

Firstly, it is important to communicate that each and every treatment you will receive at Creative Integrations will be customized and tailored to your unique needs and preferences. And while Christopher is wholly adept at several different styles of massage and therapies, he will work with you to achieve your desired outcome of the treatment (relaxation, injury rehab, increased range-of-motion, make that headache go away).

Christopher has studied over 20 different styles of massage and has taken several classes/seminars in related therapies. Combine a master’s degree in exercise physiology and over a decade of full time massage experience, and you will quickly find your time on the table will be poignant and effective.

That said, while Christopher has studied these many styles, he has found only a handful to truly resonate with him. Of these, his “go to” modalities are Russian Sports Massage, Swedish (heavy handed), Deep Tissue, NeuroMuscular Re-education. Other styles co-mingled throughout the treatment will include flashes of Thai Massage, Tui Na, Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Structural Reintegrative Therapy and Trigger Point Therapy

Overall, Christopher rarely uses his forearms and elbows (unless you are 6’5″ or bigger) which means all the massage work is done with hands only. This means the level of precision and exactness is wholly increased and you will find the treatments are far more effective.

Should you have a specific request for a certain style of massage, feel free to make the request. Christopher is extremely confident in his skills but also knows that if you are looking for a specific massage that isn’t Christopher’s specialty, he will happily find you a therapist that loves doing that exact treatment for you. You want a therapist that loves doing a particular style, that specializes in the modality to work on you, not someone who has studied it is the past but isn’t called to it, right?

This begins Christopher’s discussion of his “Your Time Not Mine” philosophy and approach.
